Named after Balder, the god of light, peace, and beauty in ancient Nordic mythology, Balder Luxury Lodge offers a safe haven amidst the rugged beauty of Nordic nature. The lodge and the surrounding 8 panoramic igloos are nestled deep in authentic Lapland wilderness.

The interiors are rich in textures, inviting guests to experience their surroundings with all senses. This richness is created by contrast and depth were at the forefront of the design process — warm, soft lighting against the deep blue of the night sky; handcrafted wooden surfaces meeting the crisp lines of polished stone. A juxtaposition that creates richness and balance, much like the four distinct seasons that define Finnish nature.

All suites and igloos are designed for comfort and warmth, creating a safe haven for guests to take in the northern lights straight from their own space. On the other hand, the common lounge area of the lodge invites guests to spend time together and come together to share their journey and experiences with others.
